Democracy For Vermont uses a "bottom-up" endorsement process
Candidates must obtain an endorsement from at least 50% of the active Link-Ups in the candidate's geographical campaign area before the Democracy For Vermont Steering Committee will vote. State-wide candidates must obtain an endorsement from at least 50% of all active Link-Ups in Vermont, county-wide candidates must obtain endorsement from at least 50% of active Link-Ups in their county, etc. If there are no active Link-Ups in a candidate's district, the DFV Steering Committee will vote directly on the endorsement. Candidates must receive at least a 75% vote of the DFV steering committee for endorsement.
Candidates endorsed by Democracy For Vermont (DFV) will be posted on this page as they are endorsed.
A DFV endorsement includes a recommendation to Democracy For America (DFA) for their endorsement.
