On May 27th, bestselling author and nationally syndicated columnist David Sirota will be in
Burlington to launch his new book, THE UPRISING: An Unauthorized Tour of the Populist Revolt Scaring Wall Street & Washington (Crown Publishers).
The book traces the historical roots of populism – and the efforts to thwart it, including a close look at the Democratic Party’s construction of the “superdelegate” system now playing a key role in the presidential campaign.
